Nike’s iconic Air Force 1 trainers are probably the pair of shoes I wear most. They go with pretty much everything, so I have a lot of trouble dissuading myself from styling them with almost every outfit. White trainers are so versatile and should definitely be a staple in everyone’s wardrobe! But not everyone wants to buy something that half the world already owns. I personally love my Air Force 1s. Having said this, it’s definitely fun to switch it up every now and again. So, here are seven Air Force 1 alternatives that can be styled in the same way as the original pair.
Puma Cali Sport Trainers

These trainers are a solid choice for those who prefer more of a platform sole. They come in a bunch of different colours and varieties, but the new Cali Sport In Bloom collection steals the show for me. The little embroidered flower on the back is just too cute!
This sage green pair is simply stunning – I love the grey and beige suede accents. The cloud pink version is gorgeous too.
Nike Court Vintage Trainers

If you’re looking for something a little less chunky than the Air Force 1s, you need to pick up this pair! These shoes still have the classic Nike branding, but it’s a bit more subtle. The tiny embroidered tick is perfectly understated (despite the neon brand name overlaying it).
The toe of the shoe is obviously quite similar to that of the Air Force 1s. However. I think the body is different enough for these to be considered a worthy alternative.
Veja Campo ChromeFree Leather Trainers

This Veja pair is one of the more expensive Air Force 1 alternatives on this list. However, given that the brand uses eco-friendly materials to produce these shoes, I think the higher price is justified.
I absolutely adore this white natural pair. I think the muted colour palette means that – despite being a pair of trainers – they can still look really sophisticated and classy when dressed up the right way.
Puma Carina Leather Trainers

These trainers have a slight platform but are definitely not as chunky as the Oslo ones you’ll see later on. They’re described as having a ‘tennis-inspired silhouette’ so, as you can imagine, these are quite light and comfortable to move around in.
If you prefer a monochromatic look, you can opt for this black and white pair. Or, if you want a splash of colour, this Carina Fade pair is pretty cute too.
Adidas Originals Forum Bold Trainers

These Adidas trainers are pretty similar to their Nike counterpart. And, while they do come in a range of colours and designs, it’s this all-white version that’s going to give you that Air Force 1 look. So, if you’re someone who prefers the way Adidas shoes fit, this might be the perfect alternative.
Reebok Club C85 Trainers

Like the Puma Carina trainers, these shoes are tennis inspired, so they’re going to feel a bit more soft and flexible. Despite this, the leather upper still provides a good amount of support and the soles are pretty hard-wearing.
The white/green combo is perhaps the most classic (or most popular) Club C85 style. But these come in a bunch of other colours too … red, yellow, blue … you name it!
Puma Oslo Femme/Maja Trainers

The Puma Oslo trainers have possibly the chunkiest sole of the bunch. And, unlike the others, you’ll notice that these are missing the perforated toe box. But there might be a reason for this. As you can tell from the thick sole, it seems like these trainers are ALL ABOUT durability … while breathability takes a bit of a back seat.
My pick, within this collection, would have to be the Puma Oslo Maja Revive. Both the white and peach and white and black versions are so cute.
