Summer is within arm’s reach and I’ve already been planning the outfits I’m going to be wearing over the next few months. The only thing missing… jewellery! Summer accessories are all about bright colours, playful designs and lots of sparkle… my jewellery collection was certainly not reflecting any of this!
I’d been eyeing up a few pieces from Astrid & Miyu for a while and finally convinced myself to buy them. They just arrived and now I’m so excited for summer – and for matching them with my holiday outfits – that I felt I had to make a post on some of my top summer jewellery picks.
So, without further ado, here are the ten jewellery pieces that I feel are worth adding to your jewellery collection this summer.
Astrid & Miyu Aqua & Pearl Charm Huggies
Add a pop of colour to a simple gold ear stack with these aqua & pearl huggies from Astrid & Miyu. Adorned with a pearl charm, these earrings are eye-catching but still super delicate and elegant. You can even remove the charm if you want a more understated look.

Lily & Roo Gold Huggie Pearl Drop Earrings
Pearls were all the rage last year… and it doesn’t look like that’s about to change. Pearl jewellery is pretty much timeless, so if you’re looking to invest in some quality pieces, this is a great way to go. I love these Lily & Roo Pearl Drop Earrings because the pearl charms are detachable, meaning you can dress your look up or down depending on the occasion. Plus, if you prefer a little less bling, Lily & Roo do a plain gold band option too.
Missoma Jelly Heart Gemstone Ring
Missoma’s Jelly Rings come in all types of colours and gems. This sea blue one is made of Aqua Chalcedony which just screams summer! Because it’s so chunky, this is the perfect statement piece to wear by itself. But, if you want a more layered look, pair this with a couple of dainty gold bands for a super cute summer ring stack.
Muru Gold Anklet
Anklets are an amazing low-maintenance summer accessory – you don’t really need to switch them out as much as you would earrings, rings or necklaces. A simple beaded gold chain like this one from Muru looks good with any choice of footwear. And you can even personalise this with a tiny letter charm to make it look even more special.
Estella Bartlett Chunky Floral Hinge Hoops
Chunky gold hoops are such a summer staple. Not a fan of plain gold? Grab these Hinge Hoops from Estella Bartlett which are etched with cute white flowers. I love how fun these earrings are, and I feel like they’d be a great spring accessory too. The silver set is just as pretty so you’re definitely going to want to pick at least one of them up!
Astrid & Miyu Birthstone Earrings
I’m a sucker for dainty jewellery and this tiny stud from Astrid & Miyu has my heart completely. It’s the perfect pop of colour in a gold lobe stack. Plus, it’s made of 14k gold so it shouldn’t tarnish or become discoloured if you’re dipping in and out of the pool or sea.
Missoma Lucy Williams Engravable Roman Arc Coin Necklace
Missoma’s Roman Arc Coin Necklace was inspired by a trip to Italy and definitely makes me feel like packing a bag and jetting off to Rome. It’s such a great necklace for layering – this goes with thick chains and fine chokers alike. You can even get this engraved on the back which would be such a lovely idea if you wanted to give this as a gift!
Tada & Toy Star Ear Cuff
Curate the perfect summer ear stack with this Star Ear Cuff from Tada & Toy. The cuff simply slips onto your ear so no piercing is actually required! It also comes in a choice of three metal finishes – gold, rose gold or silver – so you can match it (or contrast it) with the rest of your summer jewellery collection.
Monica Vinader Mini Nugget Pearl Beaded Necklace
If you love pearls but want something a little more dainty and understated than the classic round pearl choker, Monica Vinader has you covered. This necklace is delicately strung with seed pearls and gold vermeil beads, a combination which gives it a unique and modern twist. Pair this with a chunky gold chain for more of a statement look.
