AD-PR | The products featured in this review were kindly sent to me by Coco & Eve. All thoughts and opinions, however, are completely my own.
A little while ago Coco & Eve sent me their Super Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner to try out, along with one of their microfibre hair wraps. Although I’d heard A LOT of good things about the brand, I actually hadn’t got round to buying anything from them yet so I was really excited to try these out!
With ResistHyalTM Hyaluronic Acid technology, no sulphates and no silicones, Coco & Eve states on their website that these products boost hair hydration by 26 times and provide 51% more softness and smoothness. Pretty big claims!
The brand also assures customers that all their products are vegan and cruelty-free – they’re PETA approved. So, we’re off to a pretty good start!
These are ALL OVER Instagram, but I was keen to see if they actually lived up to the hype. Here’s how I got on…
Coco & Eve Super Hydrating Shampoo 🥥
This shampoo lathers up pretty well … and doesn’t require you to use too much product for the suds to appear. One generous squeeze and I’m able to wash my hair thoroughly! I’ve noticed that ‘hydrating’ formulas don’t tend to lather as much (maybe due to the lack of sulphates), so I’m always pleased when I find one that is gentle, but still leaves my hair feeling clean and fresh.
Hydrating shampoos normally don’t perform that well in terms of volume either. However, this Coco & Eve shampoo actually seems to do the job! It gives my hair the perfect amount of lift and body that it needs.
Coco & Eve Super Hydrating Conditioner 🌴
I never know what to expect from silicone-free conditioners. Sometimes it can be disappointing when you wash them out because you don’t get that silky soft finish that you’re used to with other formulas. However, I feel that the Coco & Eve conditioner did a pretty good job!
The product itself is thick and creamy, and applies nicely. My hair looks glossy and healthy after I use it, so I don’t have any issues with it getting tangled or matted. I’ll usually go in with a hair oil afterwards – just to really amp up the shininess – but if I don’t I still feel like my hair is adequately hydrated from the conditioner alone.
Microfibre Hair Towel Wrap 🧖♀️
I always use a microfibre towel after I step out of the shower anyway, so I had no doubt in my mind that I would love this one. It’s really thick and feels like such good quality. It also dries my hair really quickly which I very much appreciate on busy weekday mornings.
Obviously this is a slightly pricier hair towel option – especially since you can buy something similar from Boots or The Body Shop for a fraction of the price. But the print is super adorable and I do feel that this reduces frizz, so I completely understand why so many people swear by it.
One thing to bear in mind is that this towel isn’t elasticated, so it does need to be fixed quite tightly. The upside of this though is that you don’t have to face that annoying moment when the elastic snaps/loosens and you’re forced to throw the whole thing away!

Overall Thoughts
I really loved these products and would definitely buy them again. The packaging is cute, they smell good and they make your hair feel great – what more could you want! Obviously they’re a little pricier than your typical drugstore shampoos and conditioners, but I think they may a really nice treat – especially when you buy them on sale.
Best of all, I took these on a weekend trip with me and now every time I use them it reminds me of being on holiday. There’s just something really comforting about the scent – it makes my shower routine feel so much more relaxing.
