I don’t shop from Etsy as much as I should – a couple of recent jewellery orders reminded me that!
There are some UK jewellery brands that I go back to time and time again, but lately I’ve not been able to find what I’m looking for on these sites. A bit of browsing led me down an Etsy rabbit hole and I’ve not been able to escape since!
I bought a few pieces from small businesses on Etsy and I’ve been so impressed by the quality, the packaging and the overall amount of thought and attention that goes into each order.
I’ve made it my goal for 2024 to shop locally (well, to at least shop domestically!) and it’s been great to discover loads of small businesses that offer such pretty, unique jewellery designs.
You probably don’t need much convincing to do some jewellery shopping. But, in case you’re looking for some inspo, here are a few of my favourite gold earrings I’ve spotted on Etsy.
1. Tout Jewellery Dainty Black Cz Flower Dangle Hoops
Black and gold are such complementary colours, and I love how the little black gems in the pieces above really draw your attention to the richness of the gold.
The flower hoops are my fave of the lot. The black and gold combo looks super glam, but the floral element softens it a little.
If you want to add a bit of interest to your standard gold earring stack, why not try the black flower hoops in your first lobe piercings?
2. Lulux Crafts Dainty Gold Tassel Earrings
I’m a sucker for tassel earrings and the fact that these contain tiny dangling pearls makes them 10 times cuter. These may be faux pearls… but they certainly look just as good as the real thing!
What’s great about these earrings is that you can choose your desired closure. Pick from studs, hoops or even clip-ons, whichever you prefer!
They also come in silver too so you can grab a pair in both finishes!
3. Nisí Jewellery Celestial 18k Gold Chubby Hoops
These are the perfect mid-sized hoop if you want something that’s not quite as chunky as the Astrid & Miyu Cosmic Star Bold Huggies but not quite as small as their Cosmic Star Dome Hoops. The Nisí Jewellery earrings are a little kinder on your wallet too!
I love the little embedded jewels – it adds such a cute touch to your standard plain gold huggies!
And, to continue with the celestial theme, I’d probably add a tiny moon or star stud to the second lobe or helix. How cute!
4. Virgo Creation Studio Pearl Hoop Earrings
These freshwater pearl hoop earrings are so unique. They’re actually studs, and the hoop is formed by pushing on the earring back.
I love that this gives them a bit more stability (and makes them slightly easier to put on) than earrings with latch back or hoop closures.
5. Vachana Jewelry Long Bowknot Cubic Zirconia Hoop Earrings
I’d been eyeing up the En Route Miffy Earrings so when I came across this similar pair of bow hoops I knew I had to get them.
These look delicate but I was surprised at how sturdy they feel on. I can’t stop wearing them – they go with literally any outfit!
6. Seol Gold Oval Twisted Creole Hoops
Sometimes you just want something a little more interesting than a classic hoop… that’s when the twisted hoop comes in.
I love how elegant these are, and I think they make a pretty good starting point for any earring stack. You can curate such a beautiful look with these hoops as the focal point!
Pair these twisted hoops with a twisted ring or croissant ring to really bring your look together.
7. Elk and Bloom Chunky 18K Thick Gold Hoop Earring
If dainty jewellery isn’t really your thing, this T-bar earring set from Elk and Bloom will suit you down to the ground.
These earrings are chunky but not heavy, and would work well for a both a dressy daytime and evening look.
8. Versa Jewellery Chunky Gold Hoops
These statement hoops are sure to catch everyone’s eye. They’re big and chunky, but still suitable for everyday wear.
I love the ribbed detailing on the inside of the hoop, it makes the earrings look a bit more premium.
And the push back closure is always a plus point for me. If you’re someone who changes your earrings often, you’ll appreciate how easy (and quick) these are to remove.
9. Ja Belle Jewellery Constellation Earrings
Even if you aren’t into star signs, you can’t deny how gorgeous these zodiac constellation earrings are!
Cubic zirconia gemstones are intertwined with little gold stars to create this stunning celestial design.
What are your go-to gold earring picks at the moment? Do you have any UK-based Etsy jewellery shops that you’d recommend? Let me know in the comments.
