A while ago I did a post rating Korean sunscreens without any explanation… and I’m finally back with a follow-up.

This is the first of the three-part series, I’ve also got a handful of other sunscreens which didn’t feature in the original post so there will definitely be more K-sunscreen reviews on the way! ☀️

@tocobo_official Cotton Soft Sun Stick [AD-PR from @stylekorean_global] - I’m generally not a huge fan of stick sunscreens as I find they tend to leave a bit of a film on the skin. This one does have a hint of that, but it’s not quite as silicone-y as other sunscreen sticks I’ve used. I like the silky finish, and that it’s mattifying without being drying. It has a subtle, fresh scent to it and the format makes it great for on-the-go reapplication. It’s not my fave, but I still think it’s a decent, fuss-free option.

@round.lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sun Cream - I can’t stress enough how good this sunscreen is - it’s easily top three for me. With its lotion-like texture, this is super nourishing without feeling at all heavy on the skin. It’s also really gentle, has no detectable scent, and sits beautifully under makeup. The price loses it a point, but I have no complaints apart from that!

@isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel - I love the consistency of this sunscreen. It’s light and it sinks in to the skin like water. The finish is really pretty too, it’s slightly dewy but still very natural. The only downside is that this starts to make my eyes sting as the day goes on. I have no idea why!

@beautyofjoseon_official Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics - You can tell how well loved this one is. It’s such a staple in my routine, since it’s lightweight, fragrance-free and affordable. I have to say, though, the new Aqua Fresh version may just have overtaken the original Relief Sun as my favourite BoJ sunscreen!

I had the opportunity to work with some incredible brands in 2024, and to try so many amazing beauty products too. It would be impossible to fit everything in one post, but these are a few products that stood out:

@cocoandeve Bond Building Pre-Shampoo Treatment [PR] - Bond building treatments are a game changer when it comes to repairing dry, heat-damaged hair, and this Coco & Eve one is no exception. It leaves my hair feeling so soft and silky. I’ve noticed much less breakage too!

@skinproud Secure the Barrier Skin Barrier Support Cream [PR] - This is my favourite of all the Skin Proud moisturisers. It’s rich and nourishing without feeling heavy, greasy or clogging. It’s also unscented and non-irritating so I can apply it no matter the state of my skin. This has become my go-to night cream, I’ve repurchased this twice and will be stocking up on this in 2025 too 😍

@skin1004official Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Intensive Ampoule - SKIN1004 always nails it with their ampoules. If you like the original Madagascar Centella ampoule but want something a bit more moisturising, this Probio-Cica one is ideal.

@glowishere Peach Peptide Repair Lip Balm - I’m obsessed with the flavour of this. It’s sweet and citrusy, but not in an artificial or cloying way. I think I may prefer this to the Laneige Lip Sleeping Masks for this reason alone!

@elfcosmeticsuk Brow Laminating Gel - A fuss-free product that makes tidying up your brows super quick and easy. It holds the hairs in place without leaving a white residue, and is very comfortable to wear - no stickiness or flakiness at all. I also like that this comes in a travel-friendly tube - I have e.l.f’s Brow Lift too but it’s not exactly the easiest product to apply on the go! If you’re looking for a Refy Brow Sculpt dupe, give this a try!

@skin1004official sent me their Madagascar Centella collection a couple of years ago and it’s still one of my fave skincare lines to this day!

I’ve repurchased so many of the products pictured, but the ampoule, cream and oil cleanser are particular standouts.
