Behind the blog
How it all started
This actually isn’t my first beauty blog. In 2013, before I knew anything about domains and hosting, I’d set up a little page on Blogspot which I’d post to occasionally. I didn’t stick with it for very long. I think I had about three readers, and I was so bogged down with school work that it just didn’t take priority at the time.
However, after I finished university, I decided I’d give it another go. I launched The Summer Study at the end of 2020 as a way to get back into writing. Over the past couple of years it’s been so much fun to fill this site with beauty reviews and fashion guides, and to just generally share my experience with the products I’ve tried.
